On this piece I used colored pencils, watercolor and oil pastels. When I was creating my artwork I started with putting watercolor on the leaves and the iris in the eye. I put some colored pencil finishes in the iris and completely used colored pencil on the entire face. I lastly used oil pastels on the background. Practicing and working on my realism skills while using different mediums has inspired me to create this piece that uses emphasis and value.
